Here at MGA we pride ourselves on ensuring that every child has the opportunity to take part in gymnastics and develop and progress to their individual potential. We have a range of classes suitable for all ages and abilities and there is definitely something for everyone. If you are unsure as to which class would be suitable, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us and we will be happy to help you find the right one.

Preschool gymnastics teaches your children important skills such as balance, coordination and listening skills. With expert supervision and a playful environment, it’s a great way for them to have fun and lay the foundations of a healthy, active lifestyle. We offer a range of classes for our youngest gymnasts. Starting from our parent and toddler classes, to our independent classes, there is something to suit all your little explorers

Our general gymnastics classes are suitable for boys and girls of school age and are all run by British Gymnastics qualified coaches and are designed to engage children in gymnastics in a developmental, fun and friendly way. Gymnasts will learn the basic movements and fundamental skills required in gymnastics, as well as developing skills such as teamwork, perseverance, discipline and self-esteem. Above all, we ensure that all our gymnasts have fun!

Our 2 hour progressive classes are ideal for those who want to do more! In these classes, gymnasts will focus more on developing the skills required to allow them to move into our advanced classes. This will involve more focus on strength, conditioning and flexibility as well as encouraging the development of physical and social skills and enjoyment of the sport. Gymnasts in these classes may be offered the opportunity to compete in external competitions subject to selection.

Our rebound classes are designed for those who have previous gymnastics experience and want to develop their tumbling and vaulting skills even further. These sessions are specifically focused on more advanced tumbling and vaulting skills using our fast track, foam pits, trampette and sprung floor.
Gymnasts in this class may be offered the opportunity to enter Floor & Vault competitions (subject to selection)

These classes are the next step for those gymnasts who demonstrate the ability to take their gymnastics to the next level. Gymnasts in these classes will focus more on progressing their skills on all apparatus through the introduction of more focussed strength, conditioning and flexibility work. Various external competition opportunities are offered to gymnasts in these classes subject to selection.

We have a competitive squad programme here at MGA which has had much success on a regional, national and international level. Entry to this programme is by selection only and our coaches have the experience and skills necessary to be able to select gymnasts based on their skills, physical and mental attributes. Gymnastics at this level is not suitable for everyone and our competitive gymnasts have to be extremely dedicated, committed and disciplined, training between 8-20+ hours a week.
